Love this hotel! Great place to stay if going to see Hamilton - a block away. Great price and the hotel is super cool :)
Liked: Fun and updated decor; friendly, efficient staff; enjoyable happy hour in the lounge; proximity to CIBC Theatre; wonderful restaurant - Steadfast, not affiliated with hotel but in same building, plus fun rooftop bar in the Kimpton.
Disliked: Nothing.

Great hotel, but staff needs...
Liked: Was there a for an exhibition, but overall very good. Loved that there about 3-4 elevators that were just for the customers to use, so there were no difficulty moving to different floors during the rush hours. Breakfast was good, served at the 1st floor restaurant of the hotel. We stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast menu is limited so it can get a bit repetitive. They have a beautiful lobby that was empty most of the time. I highly suggest utilizing that space. Otherwise the service was good. Location - 5/5Service - 4/5Food - 4/5 Comfort - 5/5
Disliked: We originally booked it with the breakfast included. When we showed up at the hotel, they gave us a $60 breakfast voucher for 5 nights for 2 people. We asked two separate times, and the front desk said that they were sure that it was only the $60 and the rest had to be charged to our room, even when we mentioned that this amount is not enough to cover 2 people's breakfast at the restaurant. Then they gave us one day's worth of breakfast voucher, and that this was all they can do. So I took the issue up to IHG. I talked to their customer service, and IHG confirmed that our booking was correct, that the breakfast was included. Soon after the call with IHG, the General Manager came to our room and handed us the breakfast voucher for 5 nights. Moral of the story: Kimpton Gray needs to train their people better, that if the front desk staff is unsure or have a challenging request/customer, that THEY call their manager. For the guests, if your request isn't fulfilled as your booking, talk to IHG. They'll help you out.

They stay was overall great...
Liked: Beautiful inside and out.
Disliked: Room service sent burnt food to room and took an hour and a half to bring up the replacement. Valet parking didn’t take my car to the garage instead he had me follow him there. Then left me to figure out how to get back to the hotel at 2 in the morning.
