Kimpton George Hotel

Excellent Stay and Location, Minor...

Liked: The stay was splendid, and the hotel is very well located. We spent two nights at the Kimpton George Hotel in Washington, D.C. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spectacular. The service was top-notch.
Disliked: The only aspect that I believe could be improved is the breakfast area. The breakfast itself was somewhat limited, and there were not enough tables to sit comfortably. There are some sofas, but there is nowhere to place your coffee, making the space for having your morning coffee quite uncomfortable

Liked: Very convenient location.
Disliked: You cannot call that a breakfast. Pièces of art around the hotel are a shame. Please do better. Sure there is local affordable talented artists.

I would definitely recommend this...

Liked: The front desk staff were exceptional. Everyone was so helpful. 5 minute walk to the Capital and Union Station. The room and hotel were clean.
Disliked: The beds left a bit to be desired.

Love the emphasis on George...

Liked: Just ok! All processed and unhealthy and I skipped but found the corner bakery a wonderful alternative
Disliked: Breakfast

Liked: Great staff, nice room, amazing location. Only downfall was that the restaurant there is currently unavailable. So that limited certain amenities on the property.

Great location, good overall experience

Liked: Breakfast was good but I wish there are more savory options, like boiled eggs or non-pork breakfast sandwich (we are Muslims so we couldn't eat the sausage breakfast sandwich)
Disliked: I was really hoping to have a microwave in the room. I used the one in the lobby which was a bit inconvenient, but I am glad it was an option.
