Took a while to book in as there were two guests complaining about their stay which was not a good start. We were then welcomed by the desk clerk who proceeded to book us in, but when the phone rang, despite there being two other people behind the desk, he decided to answer the phone and so we had to wait several minutes before he finished the call and continued to serve us. On Saturday evening after returning from the theatre, we decided to call room service - we were phoning for several minutes but there was no answer! My sister then decided to go down to the reception herself to be told there was no room service on Saturday evening. This was not such a problem, but the only thing I take issue with is that the number for room service is the same number you would need to ring if you have any emergencies, so thank goodness we did not need a doctor! I think you need to look into that. The hotel itself was very nice - breakfast very good, service in restaurant very good.

Disliked: No room service or anyone on the desk on Saturday evening; tea/coffee not topped up on second day.

A great location, comfy clean...

Liked: Design and the comfort. The staff were wonderful and engaging. The Social Hour inclusion is a brilliant approach for guests to get to know each other and for us, was such fun!
Disliked: The ‘hot’ breakfast just wasn’t hot, the serving plates were cold and as a result was awful. This needs to be addressed urgently. Given the status of the hotel, this really surprised us.

Liked: The Kimpton Fitzroy is the Best Hotel we have ever stayed.in. The interior was so lovely. Looking.forward to staying there again some time in the future..
