Liked: -The breakfast staff were absolutely lovely, we felt very treated. The food was delicious!- Great location- Room decor/hotel decor was absolutely gorgeous.-The soap etc in the rooms are in tamper proof containers, which is a huge relief, not all hotels do this.-The small things; bottled water, umbrellas for use, thick towels, slippers comfy bed etc all add up to make an overall wonderful stay.
Disliked: - Our room 164 was extremely noise prone. There was violent construction in the day about which we were not warned. And, late at night people would walk past/under the wondow and shout waking up at least one of us. We also had neighbors across the hall yelling out to each other late at night, so loud I woke up with a jump scare. Perhaps the doors/walls aren't very sound proof?- Gym opens at 6h30 and breakfast starts at 7h00. So if you want to maximise your morning and exercise and get ready before breakfast starts, you'll have to go for a jog.- Many hotels do this but - put dirty cushions up against clean fresh laundered pillow cases as decoration. Please stop this, it's gross, it's more gross than it looks pretty. The cushion covers are not cleaned for each guest and so heaven only knows what is on them from prior visitors and the floor..

Liked: Lovely stylish hotel with luxury furnishings akin to the Kimpton suite of hotels! Excellent staff who were friendly & helpful, Olivia on reception gave us a lovely welcome!
Disliked: Everything was spot-on!

Very pleasant

Liked: The staff was so friendly and attentive! They made sure our stay was as pleasant as could be. The hotel is beautiful; classic British style which suits it well. Nice rooms with coffee, tea and bites were provided. The 'Garden' area was nice to work in, very bright with good Wi-Fi.
Disliked: My room in particular was too hot and I couldn't get the temperature down, even when using the airconditioning (in February!). And my bed was a bit too soft. My colleagues had a different experience temperature and bed-wise though.
