A lovely weekend in Edinburgh

Liked: Location is central. The Edinburgh castle, museums, Princes Street, George Street, Holyrood, Calton Hill, Royal Mile, St Giles Cathedral, both old and new town are all within less than 30 mins of walking distance, absolutely convenient !
Disliked: Other than the toilet flush which was a minor problem, the rest is just superb

Wonderful hotel, staff and comfort.

Liked: From reception to breakfast, bar area and BABA restaurant all the staff were amazing.
Disliked: Aizle restaurant was disappointing BUT is not part of the hotel.

Comfortable but I wouldn’t say...

Liked: We ordered room service and the soup was cold when it arrived. No evening turn down service which you would expect from a five star Breakfast was disappointing at £30 per person

Excellent staff who couldn’t help...

Liked: Noisy room, on the road side and by the lift. Water pressure wasn’t good at all to start but was quickly sorted out by staff. Bathroom a little on the small side.
Disliked: Noise from road at night and noise from lift

Overall the stay was brilliant...

Disliked: Room service food wasn’t warm. The bread that came with the soup was a bit hard and there was no butter.
