Disappointed

Liked: Bed was comfortable Room was clean
Disliked: Hot tub was closed after being told that morning it was open. Roady children in bar and had to go elsewhere to drink. Dogs barking all night. Sewage smell toilet not flushing. Key cards stopped working. Wrong charges on credit cart after checking out.

Liked: Convenient location and price wasn't terrible.
Disliked: Room wasn't ready despite checking in with my Hilton Honors app. Switched me to a different room but when I tried to get in, neither the room card or my app would unlock the door. Shower temp was very inconsistent. Rumbling noise every night like a large engine. After checking out, I was sent an email bill summary. Noted a $10/day parking charge. I didn't have a car. Asked the front desk person to credit it back to my CC, but he said he didn't know how. I tried contacting the manager later but my chat wasn't acknowledged. Finally called and was told the charge was returned, but I never received a notification prior to my call. Should have been told ahead of time about a potential charge for parking (it's an open gravel lot, not fenced, paved or guarded) and license plate number verified as proof I actually was parking there.

Exceptional

Liked: the staff and facilities were amazing, at any time of the day/night. not something you will see in a lot of places. The room was beautiful and the bed was great for sleeping.

Liked: The location was perfect
Disliked: We didn’t get the balcony room like we had booked, the pool was closed for the off season, and the breakfast that was supposed to be included in the price was not available! My grandchildren were very disappointed that they couldn’t go swimming because that was the only reason why I chose this hotel n the first place! It was very disappointing! The staff wasn’t very accommodating, the main woman who seemed to be in charge. When I called down for more towels since they only provided us two and there was 4 of us the same woman told me it would be quicker if I came downstairs and got them myself! That’s unacceptable for the price I’m paying!! Everything else was fine but I wouldn’t stay there again for the money we spent and the way we were treated.
