Disliked: I liked everything

lovely location

Disliked: phone in rm 26 didn't work. Wife had leg cramps during the night and I asked the night manager for a heating pad or hot water bottle, but you had neither.

Improvements to be made.

Liked: The room was spacious, and the bathroom was very warm.
Disliked: The room was cold, the shower was a disaster, and there was plenty of hot water that was not able to flow through the shower head. A lot of patch up jobs were carried out in the bathroom. Breakfast should have been included in the price, which would have made up for the condition of the facilities

Superb

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast there is loads of options and it was delicious, bed really comfortable.
Disliked: We had a problem with the shower, water was boiling and the switch was broken so we couldn't change the temperature.

Disliked: Property was well decorated but only covering up what needs to be done , I know it is an old building but lodge need to be up to standard , if you are looking for a break from routine this is not the place for you, you have to book breakfast day before , book dinner in bar and ring to say you want to use the pool ,
