Set in 120 acres of scenic Fife countryside Kilconquhar Castle Estate features a heated indoor swimming pool horse riding facilities and a salon with on-site health and beauty specialists. Lovely overnight stay and would...

Liked: Very friendly staff at reception and in restaurant. Clean room - good leisure facilities set in exceptional grounds.
Disliked: Sound-proofing in rooms could be better.

A great place to stay...

Liked: Restaurant on site, swimming pool facilities. Outdoor walks.
Disliked: Locked door to apartment. Key would not open. Locked out . Had to wait 40 mins for a replacement key. This had already been reported up to three times by previous customers? Lack of signage for fire exits. Didn’t know there was another door into our apartment it was behind a curtain. It would have been better to know that before entry.

Well worth a second visit!

Liked: First-class hotel in wonderful parkland. Extremely comfortable room with (almost) everything you could wish for, and a lovely walk-in shower. The Scottish Fine Soaps lotions provided were a luxurious bonus, as was the free wi-fi.Dinner on our first night in the Bistro was excellent, and the kitchen prepared a breakfast pack as we had to start very early the next day. Breakfast on the days we were there was substantial and tasty. The dog and I enjoyed some bracing walks around the immaculately-kept estate grounds.
Disliked: Minor points, I'm sure, but the room lacked a table to write at or put a laptop, with a suitable chair - some trips are not all leisure. Also, no place for unpacking a suitcase except the bed or floor, and with no shelf the floor had to suffice for toilet bags in the bathroom too. Not ideal!
