Would stay again,as it was...
Liked: The room was a little small, but adequate for a two night stay.Breakfast was really good.
Disliked: The television was in a dangerous position on the wall,as it was easily bumped into.Would have been more comfortable if two chairs would have been provided to sit and relax on.The tub chair that was provided was very uncomfortable and needed replaceing as it had lost support..

Fairy tale immersion!!!
Liked: It’s located in a magical place! The scenery is absolutely stunning! The staff is brilliant, super welcoming and helpful! Walking up in one of the Villas is definitely one of my most precious memories! And the Lindsay Room is gorgeous!!!

Very good
Liked: Location, food and facilities were great.
Disliked: Missed some old cobwebs high up the wall and on the ceiling. The beds were hard and there were no extra pillows. Also got charged for a breakfast that was meant to be included with the booking.

Lovely stay in a special...
Liked: Cleanliness-room was spacious & comfortable & spotless.Traditional decor. Beautiful building & grounds. Excellent bistro food. Swimming pool & sauna fab especially with our Scottish weather.Polite helpful staff even when dealing with some quite rude, entitled guests. Feels like a personal/privately run hotel and not a chain.
Disliked: Unfotunately we didn't get to try other facilities as it was very busy as school holiday week & were only there one night but seemed like lots indoors to keep busy esp if Scottish weather is like it was on our break. The panelled dining room is beautiful. Would be nice if there was a public area like this to sit.
