Fabulous few days in Gettysburg...

Liked: Very quaint to suit Gettysburg

Disliked: We did not like that. The bathroom was not inside our room and that we had to lug everything up to the third floor. It’s not easy at our age. Also, we had to drive to all of the events and downtown. It was too far for us to walk.

Comfortable but rather ordinary and...

Liked: Super king bed - very comfortable
Disliked: We had a 3rd floor room which was OK but rather ordinary and not worth the $245 we paid for 1 night. The rooms do not have tea/coffee making facilities and it was a bit of a pain to go down 34 steps to get a cup of tea and then back up 34 steps. The Keystone is an old house and management is proud of the heritage status, but frankly it could do with some maintenance and updating. Breakfast was at a set time and consisted of a yoghurt, banana and granola course followed by an omlette. This was freshly cooked and very delicious but we were disappointed not to be offered a choice or indeed to be asked if we could actually eat what were given. Not every one likes bananas or bacon or eggs.

Liked: Innkeeper went out of her way to inquire about food restriction—made me a fabulous GF breakfast!!!
Disliked: It is a historic building so wifi and streaming were challenging.
