Comfy beds and helpful staff

Liked: The staff were really helpful and the thought and detail that goes into a family stay is great. The breakfast is lovely with lots of options to suit everybody including the children. Comfy beds, spacious room and the children's sofa beds were very comfy (not an afterthought of a z bed like some hotels) the little treats for the kids and robes etc were a lovely touch. The decor is a little dated but more than made up for it with the comfort, cleanliness and great staff.
Disliked: The extra £30 charge to use the spa as we had booked through a third party site and not directly meant we did not use the swimming pool - gutted

Loved it here, would love...

Liked: A wonderful Spa hotel, enjoyed the Jacuzzi and had a relaxing back massage. Good gym facilities too.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that I had to pay 15 pounds per person to use the Spa, because I booked through booking.com and not direct with the hotel.

Liked: Staff - all friendly and helpful. Megan in the restaurant so attentive & kind to us . My room on ground floor by lift a bit small and noisy
Disliked: Being charged to use the spa. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and never been charged. It feels mean and unnecessary
