Exactly the solution we wanted...

Liked: Fantastic breakfast particularly the cooked to order service and the fresh fruit salad each time. Parking on the property felt secure. Location to town and beach was excellent though the return walk up the hill required some stamina. We chose Lyme Regis and this accommodation as our base for exploring the south west of England from Lands End to the Isle of Wight. Enjoyed some fossil hunting on the coast. Importantly the staff were delightful and helpful.
Disliked: You must remember this is a grade 2 listed property so has its quirks and maintenance issues as you would expect. Fresh air through opening windows but were a little stiff to open, older features, some mould indicators. But we really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The cooked breakfast was excellent and set me up for the day so I did not need anything till the evening. The room was very well insulated soundwise. I did not hear any noise from the room next door. All the staff were very helpful, the proprietor was very polite and accommodating
