Little children loves the animal...

Liked: Feeding the animals every morning is a big plus to our stay. The little ones love it so much. Host Joanne is such a lovely host. She is very friendly, answers all the questions you have. She is responsive too. We requested for some cooking condiments in our stay, she provided for us very fast! The playground and a camp fireplace at the forest is good too- The kids also have fun at the playground. Banksia is just nice for a 8pax. The host has provided some toys for the kids and they love it !This place is full of nature. Right in the middle of forest stay.
Disliked: Many many millipedes entered the house, due to the warmth I guessed... but we are in a farmstay, so we do expect that. :)

Truly authentic farmstay experience.

Liked: Austin was a great host and really made the farmstay and animal feeding a delight for the family. The kids absolutely loved the experience!!The ‘kids room’ at Roselle had toys and books that really kept the kids entertained! Location was great to head to up to the maze/canal rocks, or down to town easily.
Disliked: We arrived on a really cold evening and there was only a main heater in the living room and another small heater in the kids room so the house was kind of freezing. Took us a while before the heat finally set in but the bedrooms remained freezing for most of the night. Hairdryer was unfortunately broken (Joanne did get a working one for us the next day!) so that added a bit to the tough cold first night.

Superb

Liked: The exceptionally friendly owners, Austin and Joanne, and the variety of animals on the farm. Love the parrot. My 3 teenagers enjoyed the morning animals feeding. The location is conveniently between a few major towns like Margaret River, Busselton, and Vasse and MR chocolate factory is only 15 mins drive.
Disliked: Nothing much, but perhaps it's best the bathroom and toilet are separated as this will clear the morning jam, especially with a family of 5.

Would stay again!

Liked: Location was great. Felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but you're literally in the middle of it all. Owners were lovely and accomodating - great with our kids! Cabins were homely and stoked with games, DVDs & toys for the kids! Outdoor play equipment was in good condition. Animals were a huge hit with our kids (5&3). Kitchen was well equipped with every thing you need, including plastic plates & cups for young kids. We noticed a high chair & portable cots too, we also made use of the kids step in the bathroom - very helpful!
Disliked: Basics were a little out dated, no wifi and limited phone reception. Wasn't too bad but made it a little harder to find places to visit the next day or order takeaway. Wouldn't put us off staying again!

Excellent stay with lots of...

Liked: We have no complains at all about our stay. Our cottages were clean & cosy. The beds were comfortable & the hosts have given us thick woolen blankets to keep us warm in the winter. Just a note: if you are coming in summer, there's no air conditioning in the rooms; just in the living area. The kitchen was well maintained with stoves, oven, utensils, pots, pans, cutleries and simple condiments like oil, sugar, salt so you can prepare your meals with no worries. We met up with Joanne, who is super friendly, in the morning for the animal feeding. The children enjoyed feeding the Guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, sheep, emus, pigs, etc... Wished there were more farm activities like cow milking, egg collection from the chicken coop, horse riding, etc... On the whole, we really enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely come back for another stay again.
Disliked: Although there were numerous millipedes in the cottages & in the bathroom, so far we did not find any on our beds. The playground needs some maintenance. We could not use the BBQ in our cottage as it was too dark to do our cooking. It would be good if there's stronger lighting in the balcony area.

Fun. Good to stay.

Liked: Every morning 830am-930am they are animals feeding time. Great for kids who loves gineau pig and rabbits and many others animals. A cute dog Hardy who loves stick and a little lamb Minty. Many beds, nice and cosy. If there is a thermal lamp in the bathroom will be best as rather cold after bath. It would be wonderful if there is a dryer for laundry.
Disliked: The kid room is rather dim. Found a few big fat worms in kitchen and toilet. Dont know how it crawls in.

Superb

Liked: the animal feeding at 0830h was the highlight for the kids as well as adults, there were so many animals that are kept and cared for purely for the enjoyment of guests. The animals were all so beautifully cared for. They were also so kind to light a bonfire for us at night for toasting marshmallows! Also Farmer Aussie was such a delight to talk to, and certainly made our farm stay a welcoming and warm one!
