Nothing bad to say about it - everything was good. Nice place to stay.
Disliked: Nothing.

Clean, basic but good value
Liked: Staff were great. Catherine seemed to do every job in the building! Good location for MK.
Disliked: Our room was on the 1st floor of Heron house. There was an incessant motorised sou d above our room, lots of vibration that made it impossible to sleep. However at midnight we asked to move and staff were very accomomdating. 2nd room on ground floor was much better.

This was a bad experience...
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: This property is not true to the pictures, very cold and uncomfortable. No provision for disabled people. It was smelling of smoke and dampness in the rooms. It is not value for money and this is really an honest review from someone who has never complained about a hotel.. heating is a necessity and should not be switched off as it is important to have a room at room temperature and not freezing.

Plagued by maintenance issues
Liked: Location and overall appearance were good
Disliked: Maintenance issues - my first room was flooded (changing rooms wasn’t well handled), the lift stopped working, the outside doors never closed (giving rise to cold rooms and security concerns) and stopped working entirely by the time I left and the breakfast juice dispenser stopped working. Any one would be a minor inconvenience, but combined they suggest a property falling into disrepair.

This was good value with...
Liked: Bed was very comfortable. Welcomed the extra blanket & pillow and that you could raise the heating as need be. Breakfast buffet was ample and good. Gym & Swim was also good
Disliked: Not so much did not like - all was manageable. Would have been helpful to know by image layout, the proximity of the accommodation houses to the main reception/dining area, For example Lapwing Hse was closer than Heron Hse and it impacted parking visibility and the walking distance to the Nuffield wellbeing facility. The facility was about 5 minutes but you needed to be fully dressed with everything you wanted as you are walking in the open to reach the facility. Brekkie was good - to improve - one small different item each day would be welcome, like cheese or slice of something. Shelving for juice glasses was also at foot level - most people could not see them and certainly not reach them

It was a lovely stay
Liked: I thought the location customer service parking and rooms were really good
Disliked: The breakfast could have been better, there wasn't much of a variety and not much option for vegetarian
