Perfect couples getaway for real...

Liked: Lovely friendly welcome when we arrived.Suite was immaculate. Bathroom was wonderful & the size of the bed!!! HUGE
Disliked: Nothing, Everything was fantastic about our stay.

Great for a short stay

Liked: Polite, friendly and efficient young staff. Food in the popular restaurant was really good, and big portions! Good wine list if on the pricey side. Lovely large room (suite) and a comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom had a deep free standing bath as well as a modern shower. Bathrobes and towels were nice and soft, the heated towel rail kept the bathroom cosy.
Disliked: We really enjoyed our one night stay, but while the Coach House restaurant is smart and very popular (rightly so) the hotel part, which is in a separate building, is looking just a bit tired. The door to our room had a very eccentric (and damaged) locking mechanism which took a bit of experimenting to master.Lovely to have a coffee pod machine .. except that it didn't work. (I have informed the hotel of this.)Generally not much in the way of toiletries, tea, coffee etc .. 1 tiny bottle of shower gel, 2 tea bags in a "luxury" suite?

Good

Liked: Nice position very nice staff
Disliked: Very thin duvet . Single glazed because of the history but you need a nice comfy duvet when it is 2 degrees outside.

Enjoyed the stay over all..

Liked: Breakfast was good
Disliked: Checking out at 10am was not good on a Sunday morning… we stayed in a garden room and heating was not adequate, staff were made aware of this and gave us an electric fan heater..only had two stations to choose from on tv..

Very nice hotel with good...

Liked: BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD WITH QUALITY PRODUCE
Disliked: RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED SO I HAD TO GO TO LOCAL PUB. I APPRECIATE THAT IT WAS QUIET AND NOT WORTH OPENING BUT I WAS ONLY INFORMED BY EMAIL ON THE DAY OF TRAVEL, AND DID NOT KNOW UNTIL ARRIVAL

Great weekend break but we...

Liked: Peaceful surroundings, the food and staff were excellent.
Disliked: Just could do with a few DIY jobs to make the accommodation exceptional. Garden suites a bit clinical need softening up. TV Chanels didn’t work and at times the room was a bit chilly.
