Very good

Liked: The team of staff was excellent - friendly, helpful and courteous. A special mention to Zubair and all the reception staff fr their outstanding service. Location is great too
Disliked: Unfortunately, the aircon was broken, and the alternative provided was extremely noisy. the room are in need of some maintenance and refurbishment.

Good Location, Decent enough property.

Liked: Property was good, not amazing but good. Rooms could do with a bit of tlc and breakfast left a fair bit to be desired.

Liked: Loved the genuine 'child' bed with mattress in our family room (not the usual foam sofa with a sheet over it). Loved the spacious room size with superb view.Bonus small fridge, which we used each night.Staff were very friendly and happy.
Disliked: Being picky to find any genuine faults: The woodwork was emulsion, but appeared freshly done. The chairs had dusty backs, having been missed a few times in a row (which was only evident went the glorious evening sun hit them). The bath had no plug (so shower use only), which was a shame but not the end of the world (after each day walking London, my feet really would have liked a soak). I could have asked for one...but kept forgetting, so this one was on me. Tub and area was 'well worn' but not unhygienic.Had to retune the TV several times, in order to get any freeview channels to show (not exactly difficult, or a long job, and now done for the next guest).Continental breakfast had a great selection, but it was odd not to see the usual bacon or sausages in the mix (scrambled and poached eggs, and hot dogs were available though). (A little concerned about the immediate proximity of the plugs to the bain maries...)

Liked: The hotel was excellent. Located in a safe district 5 minutes from underground station, 2 minutes from KFC and Mac Donalds and many restaurants around.The room was spacious , very clean, quiet , very comfortable and wam.The staff was always kind and friendly. :)Breakfast was great. We will visit it again!

Not good enough

Liked: Staff was very kind but the hotel needs desperately an updating, needs to be renovated and modernised and to provide some kind of confort. There is nowhere to hang any thing except for eight difficult to manage hangers as they are the typical used in hotels but not because of that , it was a narrow and lack of depth cupboard and there were nothing else we could use to hang clothes, bags , towels, not even in the bathroom except for two tiny old cheap metal ones behind the door!!, the only small glass shelf on top of the basin was bending appreciate , so made it difficult to keep stuff not falling

Good value, great location, friendly...

Liked: Positives. Amazing location with tube station 5 minute walk away. Central to most places of interest. Staff were very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a good selection and fresh. Slight negatives. Our room was next to the lift and although it didn't keep us awake you could hear it. If you like a soft bed you might struggle. The bed is firm. The tv didn't have a great selection of channels. Overall the stay was positive. We did lots of sightseeing and the stay was clean, comfortable amd good value for the location.
