Liked: Proximity to town a the Boathouse Restaurant.
Disliked: Bar was closed! Part of the reason I come to Kennebunkport an stay at the inn was to spend time at the beautiful bar at Christmas! So disappointing that it’s closed the last few times I was there. Also the breakfast was awful.

Would not stay there again!

Disliked: Room was extremely dated.Box spring was stained. Coffe carafe was empty at breakfast. no one was in the kitchen to refil it. There was no one available to replenish the food when the last bagel was taken.

Liked: Decorated beautifully & very comfortable & location was great.
Disliked: Restaurant/bar in the inn wasn't opened the night we stayed.

Outside of the heating system...

Liked: Location, Inn was beautifully decorated. Nice size room.
Disliked: The garbage in the bathroom from the previous customers was still there.The heating system was very frustrating and does not work properly. The thermostats DO not show the correct temperature in both the bedroom and bath. It took us two days to figure how to make the room comfortable. It was stifling. We had to turn off the heat in the bathroom and for the bedroom we had to turn it to 40 degrees.

Worth visiting

Liked: We loved staying here! Room was beautiful and close to the bar/restaurant. The staff were so lovely we stayed at the bar and had dinner, chatting to other guests. One of our favorite nights on a month long trip to the USA from Australia

Liked: Very clean and walkable to everything.
Disliked: Our room was right outside where the fire pits were and you heard people all the time very thin walls and it definitely was not the room we chose online. Smaller room with loud heater noise. It was very noisy

These are easy fixes that...

Liked: Good location, easy check inn/out, friendly front desk.
Disliked: I paid extra for 2 queen beds. 1 of 2 beds was rock hard- pull out sofa level hard. Ive never experienced a bed that hard at any hotel I've ever stayed in. No clock in room. Bathroom was abysmal. Completely disgusting. Shower and ceiling covered in mold. You can easily see this mold so it's clear it's simply been ignored. The vent was stuffed with lint and filth. Filth coating toilet paper dispenser. Two different color light bulbs. Looked like the walls were never painted after primed. Rusted fixtures. You just don't expect that for a $270 room. But the biggest issue was the black mold. I had my 5 month old in that room who sneezed all night. We would have never stayed had we not arrived so late.
