Luxurious but disappointing

Liked: It’s a beautiful and luxurious hotel to which I have been 3 or 4 times in the past. Wont return though for the reasons explained below
Disliked: I used to like staying here because of the high standard and the gorgeous pool. This time however the pool was closed for the whole week of my stay and I wasnt notified ahead of time (i would likely have cancelled). Very unprofessional. I found the staff unapologetic about this. The atmosphere of the place is also a bit cold and lacks generosity. The (very good) buffet breakfast is ridiculously priced at 42 euros - extravagant even by the hotel standards. You have lost a returning customer, I am afraid.

Liked: A truly wonderful hotel. Location couldn’t be better. Staff exquisitely friendly and attentive. Excellent restaurants and facilities.

Liked: .Great location, facilities, great choice for breakfast. Everytime I come to Dresden I stay here. Beautifully refurbished. Large rooms and staff also very good
Disliked: I did not enjoy our dinner at Palais restaurant, very slow service, food came cold and not tasty.
