Great Value!

Liked: Directly across from the SBahn Wehrhahn station. Easy after hours checkin. Very clean and spacious room. Building and public areas very well taken care of. Would stay again.

Liked: It was more like a rental room than a hotel. It had no staff, much less amenities than the price. There was no reception from the afternoon onwards. When I arrived, I was confronted with a machine.

Basic German Budget Hotel

Liked: Basic German hotel in good condition. Nothing fancy, but everything worked well. To make WiFi usable, they bumped me up to a twin room with a fridge. Rooms had spacious balconies, and large sunny windows. Clean. Short walk to S/U-train stop and to shops. Bed in twin room was comfortable. If in Düsseldorf again, I would stay at this hotel again.
Disliked: Reception only until 2PM; no staff thereafter. WiFi routers are on floors 1, 3, & 5. Signal is too weak on other floors. Had to change room/floor after first night, so WiFi would reach the room. No fridge in the single rooms. Bed in single room was too firm. Booking.com tried to charge me additional foreign currency exchange fees that Booking,com did not reveal during the reservation. Had to call my bank to get it reversed. Often have such problems with Booking.com. Would not use Booking.com again.

A Good Accommodation Choice

Liked: + Being able to check in 24/7 from a device outside the hotel is a great advantage. This allowed me to check in without stress.+ It was a nice detail to have water and jelly beans in the room at the welcome+ The hot water in the bathroom was uninterrupted. + The staff at the reception during check-out was also very friendly.+ The room and surroundings were quiet. Noise from the train did not disturb us. + There is no problem with the room temperature unless you open the balcony. Also this balcony is a great advantage in summer.
Disliked: - The heating system needs to be checked. The heaters were working, but the room was not warm enough. The room was not cold; don't worry - The internet connection was sometimes unstable; I experienced disconnections, but I wouldn't say there was no internet at all or that it was unusable.- It would be much better if there was a mini fridge in the room- There is work at the train station in front of the hotel. Be careful with your plans in this regard.
