Nice hotel

Liked: We like the location hotel, breakfast was very good, the bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean
Disliked: We stayed in room 120. It had two large kitchen vents outside the bedroom window and there was a smell of cooking from inside the room. When I got home, all my clothes smelled the same. I would definitely stay in the hotel again, but make sure and request a different room.

Liked: Hotel needs a good upgrade. Not one chair we set on was comfortable, apart from the bar stools all the others need reupholstered your sitting on the frames.We booked the deluxe suite but there was nothing deluxe about it wish I had saved my money on the upgrade. The bed was comfortable enough but the seating area was very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The bathroom had a big double shower but not so much as a small shelf to put your shampoo on. There were several hairs in it and the tiles were covered in soap and water stains. The jacuzzi bath looked nice but the jets were filthy looked like they had never been cleaned. Out look from the window was onto a small roof which was fenced in by 6ft fence and windows were filthy also. There was a fragrance all through the hotel which was also your toiletries fragrance and was very over powering to the extent gave me a bad headache. Couldn’t open the windows for fresh air as room was over the kitchens and there was a constant drone of fans to very late and then again from early morning.The only good thing I can say was the breakfast was good, nice and hot and plenty to choose from.
Disliked: Smells. Furniture uncomfortable. Bathroom not cleaned to an acceptable level.

Liked: Lovely old world style hotel, relaxing,suited towards people who are past the out all night stage of life. Excellent value for money, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast.Staff are warm and welcoming and happy to have a chat and laugh with guests. Perfect for a relaxing break solo or with friends. Highly recommended
