Great old classic hotel

Liked: Great location in the middle of town. Great old classic luxury hotel. They have done a good job of updating a very old hotel with many more modern conveniences. But still has the great old feel with some creaking and classic feels.
Disliked: We had the 2 room suite and one of the rooms the heater seemed to be stuck on. Windows don't keep much of the noise out, but not a big deal.

Liked: We were possibly the only guests during our stay. We stayed in the room with the jacuzzi bathtub and it was a really nice tub.
Disliked: There was a bar across the street, Eagle Lodge. There was hooting and hollering and tire screeching well into the night. The breakfast provided only had a few items. Cold cereal, scones the size of a cutie orange and one single slice of quiche that was wrapped in plastic. The quiche was not heated and not refrigerated. We skipped the breakfast and went to ihop. That was a bad idea. Also the Chinese restaurant downstairs with all of the awards in the window was awful.

Liked: Rooms were nice. Right downtown. Local to all the shops. Kind staff. Delicious breakfast and awesome popcorn and cookies! Such a nice treat! Would stay here again and again!
