Good location but not a...

Liked: Location was great, everything was within walking distance or a quick drive.
Disliked: I read the bad reviews but they appeared to be older and it looked like the hotel had been renovated. Turns out those issues are still there, or at least they were for us. From the check-in, front desk guy was not very friendly. Everyone else that worked the front desk was nice and friendly except for the main guy that was there in the mornings. The elevator did not work so be careful if you have issues using stairs and you don't get booked on the first floor. Wifi was horrible. I complained twice, the first time I was told that maintenance would look into but nothing changed. When I complained the second time, it was with the front desk guy previously mentioned. His explanation was that there were too many guests with too many devices. Since I did try throughout our stay and at different hours of the day/night, I can tell you that the Wifi was NEVER good. Now for the worst part, you can hear everything happening in your neighbors room. There was one night where our neighbors were up until 5am and when we complained the next morning, that same front desk guy said there was nothing he could do because the hotel was full and that they were checking out anyway. Well, when we returned in the afternoon our neighbors were in deed still there and back at it. We immediately went down to the front desk and this time it was a young lady that was very understanding and immediately moved us. We did stay a few more days but ended up checking out early because of the experience. I learned to pay more attention to the bad reviews in the future.

Liked: The location was very good. It is close to a large park near the Palacio Belles Artes and a short walk into the historic center and the Zocalo. The room itself was comfy and even though it was close to the street there was no excessive noise from the street.
Disliked: The wifi doesnt work in the rooms.

Liked: Excellent location in Centro. Had a small gym. Breakfast had a good selection of food and excellent fruit every day.
Disliked: There could have been more variety in the breakfast as it was the same every day. The wifi was intermittent. The elevator said it was temporarily out of service for the whole week we were there! Sheets on the beds were not big enough and would not stay tucked in.

Liked: Comfortable King bed size room with great large shower. Clean and seems safe hotel with good customer service. Free Parking at hotel!Decent breakfast included (eggs, cereal, fruits, yoyogurt...).Location in walkable distance (20-30minutes plus) from major historic objects in old city.
Disliked: Slooow wifi (Don't expect you can work remotely). No fridge in the room to keep beer cold :/ No Ice dispensing machine on the floor as well.Stayed 4 night on 3rd floor and elelevator did not work (out of service). Keep in mind if it is challenging for you to climb a stairs.
