Liked: Room was clean and shower was great. Basement room; noisy from road traffic which led to disturbed sleep.
Disliked: Road traffic noise, unfriendly welcome/ reception.

Liked: Good location and value
Disliked: Was not aware about basement rooms. Had asked for a room on a higher level when I booked but upon arrival was given a basement room which was so hot and had zero ventilation and was noisy. Asked to be moved and staff said it was fully booked. If a guest asks in advance for a room on a higher level, surely this can be accommodated.

The hotel was okay, although...

Liked: Overall, the hotel was good for a one-night stay, but some aspects could be improved. The room was generally clean—fresh linen, a tea set, a tidy bathroom, and a clean floor—but the bedcover had a large stain of dried dirt, which somewhat ruined the impression. The location was convenient for getting around, as it was close to the underground station. However, being next to a busy street, it was quite noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. Lastly, the breakfast was acceptable but not very diverse. Given the hotel's standard, I expected a better selection. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and helpful.
Disliked: As above, if I ever stay at this hotel again, I’ll make sure to request a room that doesn’t face the street.
