Liked: Clean and sophisticated with lovely attentive staff!
Disliked: The only thing I can think of is wishing the windows were cleaned more frequently so we could enjoy the view more

A tired hotel with average...

Liked: Good location and good breakfast with a wide selection of choices.
Disliked: Hotel is very tired and undergoing an update from its previous iteration by a former chain. Staff are friendly but over-taxed and generally incompetent. Stayed the previous week at the Grand Hyatt in Auckland - a world of difference at the same price.

Liked: Very central location, walking distance to city centre, Brittomart, Commercial Bay and Viaduct. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent service.
Disliked: The room was not very clean and there was also plaster and tape etc left over from the renovations that had not been removed.

Liked: The location was great for a city visit. Very comfortable room and a lovely bathroom with soft, lush bath towels. Loved the makeup mirror! Espresso machine, quality tea, and mini bar drinks. Very stylish, understated decor, creating a calm and relaxing environment.
Disliked: I loved the lighting, but it was a bit tricky working out the switches! Lol
