Central location, comfortable lodgings, great...

Liked: fabulous central location, huge room, gloriously large bathtub as well as walk in shower, comfortable bed, sofas and chairs for lounging around in. The room was at the side of the house and was reasonably quiet considering the outside bar area which was very busy over the weekend. Breakfast included was lovely. Good strong coffee, delicious scrambled eggs. The evening meal I had at the hotel was delicious - top class fish and chips and lovely apple crumble and custard. The staff were polite and smiley, happy to help

Liked: We had a lovely room with a view out to the front and the minster out the back. Thank you to the lovely staff and the lovely gift left for us in our room - so thoughtful. Great breakfast, great location. Would definitely stay again. Thanks.

Liked: Lovely decor in main building out room was a bit dated and lacking period features due to its location.
Disliked: Staff at breakfast were very poor, disorganised and not attentive!
