Cold!

Liked: The room was very basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. It was on a busy road and quite noisy. It was inexpensive and would have been OK if there had been heating .
Disliked: We were very cold. The heating in the room was not working (radiator and towel rail) and we were only providided with a very small free standing oil filled radiator which was totally inadequate for the space. We went to the bar to ask to get someone to sort it and the barman said the boiler was broken but it appeared to have been like this for some time as the little radiator was already in the room when we arrived. As it was November adequate heating is a must. We asked for another radiator but were told this was not possible. I think we should have been contacted prior to our stay and offered a full refund giving us the opporunity to book elsewhere. Also hairdryer not in the room, had to get it from the bar

Disliked: Only heating was from a portable heater with broken legs. After a struggle I managed to wrench the front door open in order to leave, causing bruising to my hand. An emergency phone call to the owner was not answered for 2 hours.
