Some rooms have an exclusive terrace or garden perfect for dining al fresco. Guests can enjoy seasonal cuisine made with fresh local produce at the hotel's award-winning restaurant. The restaurant also includes a bright and airy summer terrace. Jesmond Dene House offers a stylish bar and lounge area serving a simple light menu in addition to fresh coffee and a wide selection of wines. Please note that we a Fern Dining Room open Wednesday - Sunday The hotel is set within the leafy valley and public park of Jesmond Dene which includes its own petting zoo. Ilford Road Underground Metro Station is less than 10 minutes' walk away and offers regular convenient access to Newcastle's center. Our bedrooms are split across three floors in the main house; two floors of which are accessible via a elevator our third floor bedrooms are within the eves and have stairs access. The West Wing bedrooms are located above The Great Hall and are accessible via stairs. The New House is home to some Deluxe bedrooms and our Junior Suites with rooms on the Ground floor and first floor which is accessed by stairs.

It was ok

Liked: Breakfast and the main house were nice
Disliked: I booked a specific type of room based on the photos but the bathroom was nothing like the pic and it stunk of damp, scenery was a skip and fences again noting like the pic advertised and the radiators need a dust as they are full of cobwebs that gave me the creeps.Although the hotel isn’t awful I did feel disappointed

Great hotel, clean, quiet location....

Liked: Really nice building plenty of character. Large room, super clean and comfortable bed. Nice to have robe and slippers. Lovely touch was the chocolate fudge in our room and a little note from the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Good value for money too. We stayed on a Thursday evening.
