Great location but mediocre hotel

Liked: The location was great!
Disliked: Our room wasn’t ready on time. Some of the staff were a little frosty. The hotel itself didn’t have much atmosphere. The room was very small and the toilet and bed were right next to each other. An alarm went off on our final night (around 10pm) sounded like a fire alarm, for about 10 mins but there was no communication from the staff if anyone needed to leave the building so that seemed very unsafe. Our sheets often had stains. The pool was cold. For the price it wasn’t good value but we were there over new years so I imagine they tend to charge extra.
