Heritage hotel in quiet, walkable...

Liked: At the heritage James Bay Inn you can enjoy and an early 1900's Victoria atmosphere in a quiet, walkable neighbourhood within walking distance of the beach and parliament buildings. The hotel has welcoming, friendly staff. Emily Carr House and the Dallas waterfront are nearby. Although old, the rooms are well kept up, painted, and clean with modern bathrooms.

The James Bay Inn offers...

Liked: We enjoyed the Victorian ambience of the hotel lobby, the stairwells, the lounge and dining room. The Sunday Roast Beef Dinner was delicious. All of the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

A great stay and highly...

Liked: We stayed at the James Bay Inn in Victoria for three nights and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Beacon Hill Park, the Parliament buildings, and downtown. The staff were very friendly, and everything was exceptionally clean. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea. The hotel has a pub and restaurant on-site, where we enjoyed some delicious burgers.

Liked: Great location, large comfortable room, Queen size bed, quiet part of Victoria but very well located to city and beach. Great and very helpful staff
