Worst experience ever

Disliked: Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the owner’s terrible treatment. We had specifically booked a room with a large bed for two, but upon arrival, we were given a room with two single beds. When we contacted the owner to address the issue, he was dismissive and unwilling to listen, stating, “We can talk about this the whole night.” He insisted that we would need to pay for an upgrade to a superior room to get a bed for two.With no other options late in the evening, after an 8-hour drive, we reluctantly stayed in the assigned room. The beds were terrible—uncomfortable, noisy vintage frames that creaked with every movement. To make matters worse, the footboard design made the bed unusable for my partner, who is 1.95m tall.This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had, both in terms of service and accommodation quality. We would never return or recommend this property to anyone. Such unprofessionalism and lack of care are unacceptable.

Disliked: Located on a busy road with no lay-by. Steep narrow steps leading up to reception. No staff between 8pm and 8 am. My request for a blanket was ignored and I woke shivering under a couple of sheets in an unheated room. No breakfast until 8 and we had to leave earlier Booking.com failed to provide credit card information to hotel so we were unable to settle our account before we left. The 8.5 rating is absurd.
