Liked: Lovely place for a couple of nights. The staff at check-in were super helpful. Great location in the centre of Hokitika.

Exceptional
Liked: Spacious, very well equipped kitchen. Clean, tidy and has everything you may need for short and longer stays. The location is within walking distance to the city centre and food stores. Definitely recommend.

Excellent stay in Hokitika
Liked: Excellent hotel within a short distance from beach and has private parking. Room was decent with a kitchen and the bathroom was spacious with towel heater and heating lights. Overall an excellent stay.
Disliked: Would have preferred a heat pump rather than the floor heaters.. but nothing much to complain about.

Would not recommend if you...
Liked: Bed comfy, room clean
Disliked: The wifi did not work in our room, we had to stand in the driveway to even get one bar. When I booked the room I stated I had a small child yet they placed us in the room right on the road which then had us on edge the entire stay as we couldn’t leave our door open for fresh air as we’re worried our daughter would run into road or cars were coming in driveway constantly.
