Wonderful B and B in...
Liked: Everything! It was quaint and quiet. The property is beautiful! Our room was on the first floor. It was decorated with a Western cowboy theme. Everything was meticulously clean and functional. We loved watching the sun come up in the valley! A top 10 resort spot!

Liked: The property location was fine, not that easy to get to, but we were warned of the hills and turns, so no worries. The bed was comfy and we slept well, but exhaustion played a bigger role in our sleep. We passed on the provided breakfast, but did enjoy some yogurt and juices. The innkeepers were welcoming and attentive.
Disliked: The room was advertised as 200 sq ft, but was closer to 100. The door knob was very loose, a strong push on the door would open it even when locked. Hot water was lukewarm at best, water pressure was poor.

A marvelous few days of...
Liked: Natural surroundings on a well maintained property. The wooden house feels very natural with well appointed rooms. It was quiet at night even with open windows, which let the mountain air provide natural cooling. The private balcony lets you enjoy the tall pine trees up close, providing plenty of shade. The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating, serving a delicious breakfast in the morning which was included. You get to meet the other guests and exchange ideas on hikes, trips and other activities. The snack room was well stocked with food and beverages like tea, coffee and sodas, all included. All together a wonderful experience that calls for a repeat visits in the future.
Disliked: A house this size built on a hillside has many stairs.

Fantastic stay in a very...
Liked: Where to start! We loved our stay at Jackson Hole Hideout. It is the antidote to overpriced generic chain hotels. The whole concept is really well thought through. It’s a beautiful small lodge in the woods, 10 mins drive outside Jackson with about 8 rooms. There is a large social breakfast /kitchen area, shared lounge space with piano, library and games, and shared outdoor terrace in addition to the private rooms many of which have private balconies. The design is beautiful wood construction - high ceilings and well sized rooms. The feeling is that of staying in a “home from home”, in that the owners and innkeepers have anticipated every practical detail you might need for a vacation in the area (e.g. pantry with snacks, bear spray, binoculars). But it nails the feeling of it being “your” home for the days you are there - and this is so hard to achieve. It really is all in the details- most of which aren’t listed or mentioned in the venue listing.Huge credit and mention must go to the hosts/innkeepers Amy and Eddy. Exceptionally welcoming, incredibly helpful with advice on trails etc in the area, fantastic breakfast being laid on with a different menu every day. Can’t speak highly enough of their warmth as people, but also professionalism as hosts. It was a genuine pleasure to chat with them, and also multiple other guests during our stay.I stay in a lot of hotels, and am usually pretty underwhelmed with the larger brands especially at the more ‘luxury’ end of the price spectrum. Jackson Hole Hideout is that rare place that offers a distinct and premium experience for people who find the branded places too soulless and ‘nickel and diming’. It has character and quality. Thank you!
Disliked: Very much a matter of personal taste- we tend to favour firmer mattresses. Might be a European vs American thing, but mattresses here quite soft in common with most US hotels we’ve stayed in.

Pleasant, confortable and beautiful location!...
Liked: Location is beautiful! Feels like a huge treehouse. Very good information to help with arriving, excellent communication! Truly friendly hosts who are very friendly and helpful and cook breakfast for you and make you feel like a welcome guest. Great views out the windows. And finally, a place where the WiFi really works well!
Disliked: The (Marshal) room was a bit on the small side. We really had to think about where to put your stuff so that you could still move around the room and get to the bathroom. Which given the price seems maybe just a little bit out of balance. But the uniqueness of the beautiful lodge-style building and the awesome location compensate to a large degree!

A great find!
Liked: Amy and Eddie were awesome innkeepers. Amy was quick to respond to any of our questions. Breakfast was delicious, We loved the snacks and drinks that were available and it was fun to sit by the firetable on the deck in the evening. It was a lovely stay in a beautiful location.
Disliked: The room was a bit small but not too bad. I wish that it was closer to town (Jackson) but it wasn't far away.
