Liked: This is a 2 star hotel and that's what we got. Nothing more and nothing less. Comfortable bed,,warm, clean room with plenty of lights. Good location, interesting history.
Disliked: The towels were very rough (but clean with a variety of sizes)

Disliked: No plug for the bath. A means of attaching the shower head at head height (not difficult or expensive) would enable a shower. Controls on electric heaters not easy to understand (but they work well).

Liked: I didn't really deal with the staff, but they were lovely. The rooms were clean. None of the normal issues of hot water, it was quick and had good pressure. The addition of soap/shower gel was welcome as I had flown in. Plenty of towels. Arriving late the first night, there was no problem summoning someone to let us in.
Disliked: The whole establishment was in need of an injection of cash. Carpets (tiles) were clean but stained and curling at the edges. I think that visually this was the most striking thing to undermine a good overall impression. The room had a really adequate shower, but with no curtain/screen, which meant being careful not to soak the floor. Bedding was again adequate but aged. There were no instructions for heating. One light switch didn't seem to work anything.

Liked: Secure parking for motorbikes (see later). 5min walk to centre and restaurants, cathedral. It's in a time warp, but location and parking in centre is great.
Disliked: Jackotel please cut back the bushes In front of the reception...you park motorbikes there but it is dangerous because we can't see big branches, my husband broke a mirror..The breakfast is not worth 10e pp...no juice, no yoghurt, no meats - 1 bread,1 croissant and jams poor. We travelled all over France/Italy and Greece this time and this breakfast was the worst.. sorry jackotel.
