Liked: Kicked out with no refund for misconduct when sick was broken in my room when I arrived and kick out no explanation no receipt no money back even though booking thru booking.com

Kind staff, safe place, mediocre-quality...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful! It was nice to have breakfast included, though I like to start my day with eggs, but that was not on the menu. They did have a few hot options though.
Disliked: My room smelled like weed the entire night which kept me awake. The hotel says it is non-smoking but someone was either smoking or had smoked in the room prior.

Liked: Clean room, friendly staff, I’ve been there twice and would definitely stay at my next visit to Houlton.
Disliked: Breakfast could use a bit more protein. Hard boiled eggs? Some cheese?

Liked: We have stayed here before. The location just off the I-95 is very convenient. The breakfast was hot and hearty. I love their waffle maker. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is always clean. We never have any problem with parking. Always a great stay.

Liked: We had a group of 6 of us visiting the Houlton Elks Lodge for a function. We all agreed the motel was very nice. We all enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Check in was very smooth and I like the technology of not having to sign all of your initials on the lines . I know it seems like a silly thing to like but I thought it was great and a good update.
Disliked: I only had a small issue but it was very minor and was corrected right away. If I could make a suggestion though I would recommend either upgrading handicap rooms to family size or at the very least getting a couple of portable shower seats. It was difficult to take a shower without the aid.
