Exceptional

Liked: Wow absolutely loved our stay at this hotel we both felt completely pampered, the staff were warm and welcoming and our room was stunning. The decor is beautiful and I especially loved the roll top bath, rain shower, toiletries, wonderful coffee and exquisitely comfy bed. We had a delicious meal and I would definitely recommend having a treatment, it was really special and the spa facilities are lovely. Hope to return again soon!

We really liked the hotel...

Liked: The breakfast was very good
Disliked: The room no49 was too hot. My daughter slept two hours. We couldn’t work out where the heat was coming from. It did affect our stay on mull as we went home early as over tired the next day.

Second stay at Spa hotel

Liked: I liked that it was dog friendly but it was quite steep at £20 a night especially since we were out most of the day and evening
Disliked: Few options for vegans on any menu and the hot breakfast choice was a bit ambiguous as to whether vegetarian sausages were vegan. It'd be very easy to get vegan (which veggies can also eat) and do tofu eggs with black salt. A lot of folk have dairy or soy intolerances so it'd be good to have oat milk as well as soya. There are also vegan black pudding and haggis and it'd be great if a 4 star hotel like this, would cater for and acknowledge that almost 6% of the population are vegan, so 6 in every 100 guests. The staff were very nice though.The spa options were limited and the hot tub unavailable

A very pleasant stay that...

Liked: The staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is very good. I ate from the bar menu which was all that I needed of it and the food came quickly. There were Tunnocks goods in the room and it was quiet at night. Most of all, though, the views were exceptional and there was easy access to paths along the coast.
Disliked: The atmosphere in the bar. This was probably the fault of the guests rather than the hotel. Certainly it had nothing to do with the staff who provided a service above expectation. The guests, however, were mostly couples sitting in silence. Usually at least one looking at their phone.

Liked: Great place, lovely views from the bar and restaurant. Lovely staff and comfortable rooms and beds. The cooked breakfast was a bit disappointing, food was tasteless. But that’s the only negative thing I have to say about this place.
