Great pre Xmas family trip

Liked: Friendly staff, lovely clean room with everything you needed, very comfortable beds!
Disliked: I didn’t realise it’s a bit of a stroll to family friendly restaurants, more a ‘tired kid’ doesn’t want to walk/wait for buses issue really.

Liked: Spacious, well appointed room. Really friendly staff. Good location, walking distance from Nelly Bay marina.

Liked: the rooms were spacious and super comfortable. It was really clean and the staff were some of the loveliest people we have met! There was nothing to complain about!

An older, but clean, comfortable,...

Liked: This is an older facility but was clean and spacious. We had our own bungalow and it was just a short outdoor walk to the pool which was like a grotto with natural rock and lots of plants. There were only a few sun loungers but lots of chairs around tables. There was laundry facilities which we were happy for - a games room that we never used - and a grocery store a couple of blocks away as well as a coffee shop with pastries and breakfast sandwiches that was very handy.
Disliked: Everything about the facility is dated - it could use a freshening up - but it is priced accordingly so was a very affordable place to stay. Our room had a king bed plus two bunks in the corner so it would be a good place for families to stay. We didn’t have a vehicle on the island and Island Leisure Resort isn’t centrally located but the tour bus (Magnetic Island Tour: Maggie Comprehensive - highly recommend!) picked us up at the resort and we only had to take a cab out & back to a restaurant once so it wasn’t a big deal.
