Very good

Liked: Travelled alone for a conference. I liked it's proximity to Harvard. The rooms were small but cute. The breakfast was what you would expect from an average B&B in Europe. There was coffee and cookies available throughout the day, which was a very nice detail. Would definitely recommend for lone travellers.
Disliked: The walls were a little too thin and I could hear someone in another room snoring. I stayed for one night in a single room. If I had traveled with a group of people, or for a longer stay, I would have opted for a different option that allowed me to save some bucks, like an apartment rental.

Perfect stay at Harvard University

Liked: Everything was PERFECT!! Cute rooms, nice people, yummy cookies and just a few steps from Harvard University - perfect recommendation!

Great value if you need...

Liked: The continental breakfast was surprisingly good. Just stay away from the croissants. They are very stale and even after toasting, they are still not good. But I enjoyed eggs and everything else I tried.
Disliked: The bathroom was extremely tight. The sink very impractical with barely any room to wash hands. When I shaved, the water took a long time to go down the drain. And the shower has a weak and narrow stream, besides being very small. Also my room was at the 4th floor with no elevator. Staff was nice and offered to help, which I declined.

Liked: The breakfast has a wide selection. Very central location.Exceptionally friendly staff.
Disliked: A few more savory hot options would be appreciated at breakfast, as also savory during tea time.

Very lovely , will certainly...

Liked: Stayed there visiting my son , who is a student there , so., the location close to campus was a blessing . The breakfast was significantly better than at the average BxB . The room ( Queen ) was wonderfully clean , and , while the whole place is very old style , it looks very well maintained . About parking : I parked in the beginning of the block - there is a shared parking lot by a different house , very spacious , did not risk fitting my suv into the narrow driveway by the Irving house . Would suggest to clarify the address for additional parking beforehand , so you won’t have to circle around the block . The front desk is wonderful : I had to extend my stay and they made all efforts to keep me in the same room , so I did not have move .

Liked: Good location close to Harvard campus. Charming building.
Disliked: It was very cold in the room, because central heating system was still off. The receptionist gave a small electric heater though.Poor sound isolation.
