Liked: Great location in historic Blackwater.Nicely appointed and comfortable rooms, maintaining historic character.Staff (Nicole) very accommodating and helpful.
Disliked: Train on adjacent tracks in the middle of the night (so that's where "Iron Horse" comes from!).Bathtub only.

Liked: The place was very nice, clean, friendly staff.
Disliked: Lots of steps. No showers, and the bathroom window did not have a lock on it.

Liked: Breakfast was delicious. Service fantastic. Hotel room was beautiful. Everything was extremely comfortable and welcoming.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The patio area out back was an excellent relaxation spot for lounging in the evening...The town offers a wonderful evening stroll while viewing historic buildings and scenery.

Liked: it’s conveniently located off the Interstate, and it’s located in a quaint and charming small town. It was quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. people were very friendly and they allowed dogs.

Liked: History is amazing, staff is wonderful, town is peaceful.
Disliked: Beds are a little on the noisy side, but this is a historical location so I assume that is to be expected.
