Liked: The location of the Invicta hotel is really good. Easy walking to the Hoe, city centre and harbour where there is a good choice of places to eat.Breakfast was very good, everything we needed along with friendly service. We were however disappointed to learn that the restaurant was not able to serve an evening meal and I was under the impression it was permanently closed. All the advertising clearly stated the restaurant was open and available for meals.We were upgraded from a second floor room to one on the first floor. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The 'en suite' was small and I would think those of more ample proportions may find difficult to use comfortably.
Disliked: The hotel should not mention the restaurant as being available for dinner. After a 4 hour train journey we were looking forward to relaxing in the hotel with a nice meal. Instead we had to walk out to find somewhere to eat.

Liked: Very welcoming, since we had only booked a couple of hours before arrival.Good room and hotel has a small bar which was helpful when we were planning our travel for the following day.Great breakfast.Good location a short walk to Plymouth Hoe
