Beautiful hotel with wonderful character

Liked: Our first time in Madrid and was lucky to pick a great location. The Royal Palace is walkable from here along with so many other places such as the busiest shopping area in Madrid. Close to Plaza Mayor as well and all of our tour location meeting points was within the hotel area. Also great chocolate and churros just down the street!

Very good

Liked: The hotel is a bit upscale - with a nice coffee and hot drink station in the room and a nice lobby bar. The hotel staff were lovely.
Disliked: The room was small and it looked out onto an unpleasant air shaft.

Perfect location for exploring Madrid....

Liked: Location was great, reception staff very friendly. Rooms exceptionally clean.
Disliked: Not the end of the world but TV channels were limited.
