Set in a Victorian house in the heart of Central San Diego's Little Italy Neighborhood of Downtown, this hostel offers dormitory rooms and private rooms with free Wi-Fi, breakfast and hosted social activities. Rooms at the property are located at either the main Captain's House or, in the historic Annex, White House. The hostel offers indoor and outdoor communal lounge spaces. There is a communal kitchen for you to prepare your own meals as needed. The hostel has a coin operated laundry. The best day time and nighttime experiences in San Diego are featured on our daily activities wall. Nightlife activities are also organized for guests at popular local destinations. Wonderful 2 nights in San...

Liked: Excellent hostel. Friendly staff & guests, nice comfortable private room, great kitchen, & the best breakfast! We were concerned about the bathrooms prior, but never had an issue. Perfect location, we walked everywhere we went, even the zoo.
Disliked: Nothing

Best Hostel in Little Italy

Liked: I like the staff. They are always great and compared to the gas lamp hostel they are much more polite. Eric is such a gentleman and very good at his job. I still do not understand why they've opened all the windows when it is freezing
Disliked: Open windows.

good cost-benefit

Liked: It's simple and comfortable!
Disliked: the house is older, so cleaning is not the best in common areas, including the kitchen. But the private room is very comfortable.
