Disliked: The upper shower needs a shelf to place your soap/shampoo (easy fix) and cleaned regularly.

Liked: The staff was kind. Since this hostel is NOT handicap friendly the staff helped me lift my cart up the stairs once I was inside the building.
Disliked: There was NO AIR CONDITIONING inside the hostel and during the month of July it was HOT inside of the hostel while there was a cool breeze coming from the opened window. What a let down.

Liked: I liked its location. It also had a pool table, board games, and a guitar for anyone to play.
Disliked: The front desk staff wanted to charge me to rent a towel and washcloth, when it specifically said they were included in the amenities and also on the door of the room in which I stayed. San Diego residents are not permitted to stay there

Liked: Stuff was friendly and location was good.
Disliked: Tv didnt work. Cockroach in the room. Bathroom had mold all over the ceiling. Pictures dont resemble the reality of the property

Liked: One of the best places Ive ever stayed, the staff were very helpful, the room was clean and nice central location

Deceptive

Liked: Checking in.
Disliked: They claimed they flagged my ID and refused me services because my California drivers license has a different state address on it. They claim it's illegal to have a California ID with a different states address on it and have a statute that states. They Would not show me the statute. No where on government websites or CA DMV states that. Offered to show them my passport, but the man at reception still turned me down and sent me packing. I would not recommend the place to my African community.
