Wished I had been able...

Liked: Excellent location.
Disliked: Mattresses are very variable in quality & thickness.Not the problem of the staff but they didn’t take my concerns seriously about another guest who was screaming & shouting in the middle of the night, insisted I turn music down at 5pm yet played her own music at 3am, etc. etc. Consequently I felt unsafe at night.

I was meant to stay...

Liked: Room was a decent size
Disliked: Terrible mattress and pillow. Lots of noise from outside throughout the night and walls so thin I could hear my neighbour snoring. Hairs in the shower, I paid for a towel - it was full of hair and tobacco crumbs.

Disliked: Rooms were way too hot at night, I would have rather slept outside it was so hot. Beds were a little uncomfortable

Liked: Only the location was decent, close to the city centre.
Disliked: When I completed my registration at the reception, no one provided a quick tour of the premises or explained where key facilities like the common room or kitchen were located. I was left to figure things out on my own.Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a strong smell as people were drinking around, which was unpleasant. When I requested a room change at the reception, the lady informed me that it wasn't possible since I was only staying for one day.The room itself was poorly equipped. For a 10-bed dormitory, there was only one table, and one person had occupied it entirely with their belongings, leaving no space for others. There were no individual charging points near the beds; instead, there was a single corner with sockets, all of which were already in use.Additionally, I didn’t feel safe with my belongings, and the environment made me uncomfortable, as the crowd seemed significantly older than expected. Overall, the experience fell far short of my expectations.

It was a great budget...

Liked: The staff were friendly and helped us with anything we needed. It is in a great location where Liverpool centre is about 10mins walk away. The rooms were basic but looked exactly like the pictures and were clean. There was a common room with a pool table and TV and kitchen which had all the necessary items (kettle, tea and coffee, utensils).
Disliked: The bathroom showers and sinks are a little dated however they were clean. Although the beds were comfortable, the pillows were a quite flat.
