Staff needs some training; good technology but needs personal relation training.

Disliked: We arrived at 2:40pm, check in at 3:00pm. Told we had to wait. OK. We went to the lounge. No one waited on us. Bartender and waiter were talking and fooling around. We went to the bar and placed an order. No one brought us our order. In the meantime another patron became angry with the bartender because she was inattentive. At 3:00pm we were called for our room. We never did get our order. We brought things with us that needed to be refrigerated so we took out the contents. The day we were checking out they knocked on our door and said we used all contents of the refrigerator. We asked them to come in and check it out. We had used nothing. We went to check out. There were only two people at the desk and the line was to the outside door. I finally checked my bill and all the charges were still on for the refrigerator even though the person who checked said it would be removed immediately. It finally was removed but if I had not asked to see the bill I would have been charged an extra $300. We were thinking of staying in an Intercontinental Hotel when we go to Barcelona however after the way we were treated and the inefficiency we experienced that will not be happening.

What can I say - great location; great hotel; clean; staff very personable and extremely helpful; would definitely recommend to others.

Liked: Excellent location, I love the view so much, the hotel is located right above a metro exit, very short wait for in-room / housekeeping service like extra towels, hairdryer replacement, good quality in-room dining, also love the airport drop-off service - I didn't have to get a cab to JFK. This is a big plus.
Disliked: Door security guards wasn't the most friendly, almost no smile. Noise, bass and mild vibration from Time Square after sunset. All drinking water in the room is chargeable which is pretty wild, fridge is filled with minibar items and basically no space for your own food. They also overcharged me a pack of M&Ms I barely touched/ knew existed, I only found out when I'm back in Hong Kong checking the receipt lol

Liked: The property had a fantastic bar restaurant called “ the stinger”! The location was perfect! To your left there was Hells kitchen and to your right was times square and Broadway!

Liked: Customer service was exceptional. Staff was professional, knowledgeable, courteous; it was like seeing an old friend. Food and drinks at The Stinger restaurant exceeded expectations in taste, presentation, variety and flavor combinations. Bed was perfectly firm, while sheets felt like sleeping within the clouds.
Disliked: The whole experience was amazing so these are really minimal things:1. Low traffic areas were dusty, like the hand towel holders. 2. The body wash scent was a strong musk. Not a universal smell. I suggest to stick to light or no scent. 3. The Broadway Channel was audible but not visual and the “view my bill” app on the TV never worked. 4. The line for check in / out is confusing because of a big column in the middle. It needs to be clear to avoid people skipping the line by mistake.
