Lovely hotel but a bit...

Liked: I liked the location and facilities but thought it a bit pricy for standard of service. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, I was expecting some menu options as well as the buffet service.
Disliked: Parking was a hidden additional cost. For a hotel with its own car park I wasn’t expecting a €25 per day charge.

not good value for money...

Liked: bed was very comfortable and bath in bedroom was a very welcome feature. Room service food was good.
Disliked: items missing from room service and when it eventually arrived all the other food had been eaten so a bit pointless.Pool was closed for cleaning at 9am even though it only opens at 7am. This was one of the main reasons for selecting this hotel.There were items of clothing on the floor from the previous guests which would suggest it wasn't cleaned very well.On check in an extra €130 deposit was taken from my car without notification from the staff member.

Comfortable city hotel

Liked: beautiful spacious room with a balcony spacious marble tiled bathroom with nightlight the hotel exudes a charming old world charm throughout.
Disliked: Although the swimming pool is a bonus, it has a shallow end (1m) and then goes to 1.5 m. The entire length is 14 metres. It is only really possible to swim in 2/3 of the pool.

Liked: The room was comfortable, we had a peaceful, uninterrupted sleep. We used the pool area, which was relaxing and clean.Breakfast was great with lots of options. Overall highly recommend this hotel, the location is quiet, a short walk to restaurants. The parking is so great also beside the entrance. We will stay again for sure.
Disliked: We had no faults.
