Liked: Very short walk from Berlin Hauptbahnhof.Business double room very spacious. Good shower in a proper cubicle and kettle and safe in room. They serve food downstairs. We ate there a couple of evenings.
Disliked: Meals downstairs were a little pricey.Towels were a bit small for drying off after a shower.

Poor

Disliked: Very poor comfort: only one blanket and one pillow in a double bed. Prefer to have at least two pillows for better sleep. Only one towel, and relatively small. Stays wet and won't get exchanged without explicitly asking for it. If you don't clean the room or exchange towels by default, at least provide two. Overall, very poor service for the price...

OK but a long way...

Liked: Location and breakfast were good
Disliked: Checking in took ages due to limited staff and we had only just given our name when we were being pressed to upgrade and pay more for our room. Only one pillow in room. Staff seemed put out when we asked for more. Restaurant had a very limited menu . We had a strange corner room with a bathroom door that constantly swung open into the very limited space. The hotel is clean and OK but not the best experience.

Very convenient location, very quiet...

Liked: At first, I was taken aback when told that our room would not be cleaned while we were resident (3 nights), but I came to see that as a positive. We can make our own bed, and certainly don't need our towels to be changed every day; I would prefer to save the soap, water and electricity. I was also disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, when I asked, the reception staff immediately found a kettle for me and would, I am sure, have also provided mugs if asked. I chose the hotel as it is 5 minutes' walk from Berlin central train station and easily accessible for central Berlin by walking or public transport, and so well situated for easily getting around on Berlin's fabulous and efficient public transport system.Our room was clean, comfortable and very well insulated from external sounds, and we enjoyed our stay there. We would certainly stay again. The breakfasts are wonderful - full buffet, including vegan options (falafel, houmous, papaya and mango dip) - wow! Breakfast is enough to keep you going until the evening and the coffee was excellent. The staff in the reception and dining area were extremely helpful and courteous.
Disliked: My only question is that hotels often seem to rely on Masdaamer and Gouda in the breakfast buffet - I would so much prefer to have local cheeses!
