Great place to stop overnight...

Liked: The location to motorway was great. The room was clean and quiet considering it's proximity to main road. Bed comfy and got a fantastic night's sleep! Staff friendly and welcoming. Restaurants within walking distance.
Disliked: The entrance was a bit strange as you couldn't see the hotel from the main road it wasn't sign posted and was round the back of showroom down a side alley. Plenty of parking.

Liked: The room was very clean.
Disliked: The promised restaurant turned out to be microwaved jars of food!! We had to go out, which hadn't been the plan after a long drive.

Close to motorway, cheap and...

Liked: Staff were very helpful. Although we didn't eat dinner in the restaurant, we had breakfast in the restaurant area in the morning and this was the nicest part of the hotel.
Disliked: The hotel says that it is non-smoking but my room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I'm a non-smoker and I really did not like the smell which I couldn't get use to. I've stayed in many hotels over the years and this is the first time that I have ever experienced this. We had four rooms between our party and mine was the only one that was like this but whenever any other members of my family entered my room, they smelt the smoke and commented on it straight away. Although there was a pace for it within the breakfast items offered, there wasn't any scrambled egg, which a number of us would have liked. We were the only group having breakfast so I presume there wasn't much laid on because of this. However, we all enjoyed the breakfast otherwise.
