Clean and stylish hotel but...

Liked: Location was excellent. Hotel is clean and the design is stylish.
Disliked: The hotel seems like a retrofit of an old building so the set up of the rooms are a bit extraordinary. For example, my room was quite cramped but the bathroom was super spacious. There are two other doors in the room which are locked. No idea what is behind those doors so it felt a little unsafe... The ceiling is exceptionally high and has an industrial feel (so it made me think that the building was some kind of factory in the past). Even though the ceiling is high and bathroom is big, there was little space / shelf / storage to put things in the room and in the bathroom, rendering it impractical. While the attention to certain details is noticeable (such as the choice of hangers and lamps), other obvious and practical details seem strangely ignored. For example the kettle is placed on the desk with the cable being too short and unable to reach the socket near the floor. I ended up bringing the kettle to the bathroom, placed it on the sink and plugged it to the wall socket (there was no other proper surface to put it except the sink). Another example: the hair dryer is placed on the chair in the room instead of in the bathroom because there really is no suitable surface to place anything like that in the bathroom. But if I put the hairdryer on the desk, then there is no more space to work on my laptop. So, even though I find the hotel stylish, for practical reason I would not want to stay here again. My colleagues staying in other rooms had similar observations (kettle cable too short; room has no table at all, etc.)

A disappointing Hotel.

Liked: The location was very close to the football stadium. Nice reception and bar, but that was about all that was good.
Disliked: Hotel had a flood so no water for coffee machine for breakfast. My room also had a flood so was wet and smelly.The reception to room was like a treasure hunt, without any treasure. Out of reception, across to the next building, up to level 5, then along a corridor, up some stairs, then right, left, left again to another lift. Then up to 6th floor, then at least another 4 corridors. I felt like I should be dropping breadcrumbs so that I can find my way back. No signage so half way there I was convinced it was the wrong way. So back to reception for a personal guide. It was unbelievable.Hotel was very bad value at 350 euros for a night, without breakfast. Probably because of the football that night.Definatly one to avoid if you can.
