Liked: I booked a "deal" and expected a room the size of a cupboard but the room was great. Central location is perfect for getting around central Amsterdam on foot
Disliked: nothing to complain about

Great location and great facilities

Liked: Amsterdam was fantastic and the Intel hotel was in a great spot for us as we were both finishing a cruise here and starting a rail trip so it was easy getting to and from the hotel. The Intel hotel was soap easy walking to lots of food bars and other interesting places to visit.

Liked: The location is super good.
Disliked: The staff was a bit "rude" and never made eye contact or even said hi when we encounter at the elevator. Didn't feel welcomed.

Great location for tourists with...

Liked: A good parking garage right in front of the hotel. Walking distance to the Central Station as well as Dam Square. Clean and modern room with a sufficient space.
Disliked: I booked 4 rooms via booking.com under my name but the young receptionist somehow couldn't find the reservation with my name properly (she said "the booking was made only for 3 rooms", which you don't want to here, of couse). With the booking code, it finally turned out right. If I wasn't persistent to ask her finding the booking fully, we could have been assigned to rooms with a higher price. It would be much nicer if the staff knows more to identify bookings properly before giving a customer a "bad news". As the impression at the check-in influences the impression of the entire stay.

Disliked: Maintenance work was going on when we arrived and it was very noisy. The female receptionist wasn't very helpful and not very welcoming. A very basic 4-star hotel.
