Staff was kind and nice...

Liked: Avocado toast on the second night was tasty and hot tub was great.
Disliked: I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this time I feel compelled to share my disappointment with the quality of service. The breakfast was simple, but far from impressive, and it took 50 minutes for our food (omelets, avocado toast, and regular toast) to be served after ordering—this happened on both mornings of our stay.We paid $250 per night, yet the rooms were disappointing: small, dark, and unclean unlike the pictures. For example, a used cotton swab from a previous guest was left on the bathroom floor when we checked in. The bed covers had stains, and one of the bathrobes had a hole. The comforter was thin, making it uncomfortably cold at night.The room also seemed in need of renovation, with visible cracks and curtains that didn’t fit properly. Considering the amount we paid, my expectations may have been high, but I don’t think basic cleanliness and comfort are too much to ask for. I am sorry that I am leaving this review but this is my honest review.

A great place filled with...

Liked: We totally enjoyed staying at the Gorge...so much more comfortable and filled with character than staying in a hotel or motel. The breakfast was excellent and the service marvelous.

The best place to stay...

Liked: Beautiful renovated old house that is in a quiet area. Lovely back yard and porch for relaxing. The breakfast is top notch and the staff are so kind and helpful. My husband and I brought our e-bikes and locked them up on the bike rack outside. In the morning the lock could not be opened at all. The owner drove in and was able to saw through that lock in no time. Such a great guy and such wonderful people here!

Liked: Breakfast was fantastic
Disliked: Tiny bathroom could only be accessed through breakfast room. The shower grout and curtain were moldy, the shower control fell off, there was no soap and hardly any shampoo. There was no headboard for the bed so the pillows fell off. Tired room.
