Clean, wonderfully staffed hotel, centrally...

Liked: The place was centrally located and very clean. Staff was always working on improving something in or around the building. Breakfast was great as well as the fresh cookies and saltwater taffy at the desk. We loved our stay in the off season and will definitely be back. Make sure you get room service daily as it gives the staff more hours as hotels are putting this as an option now. You pay for it so get it and you are helping someone get full time hours instead of just part time. Great staff!
Disliked: Beds were a bit hard but that was just a personal opinion on my part.

Liked: Carman at the front desk was great. She made us feel welcomed with our dogs.
Disliked: Pool was to cold. 3-5 more degrees would have made that tolerable.

Liked: Clean room, dated. Ok breakfast. Walking distance-close to downtown and beaches.
Disliked: The rooms are a bit dated. It would be much nicer with a facelift.

Liked: Carmen over night was nice.
Disliked: Very dated the furniture was falling apart. Our room heater did not work. There was mold in the bathroom and around the sink.

Liked: It was perfect for a family of 4 because we had a suite with 3 beds. It was very clean. They thought of everything, you could tell the owners cared about the hotel. The staff were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and we borrowed one of the many movies they have on hand.
Disliked: Clean, great location, awesome breakfast and huge room. Lots of towels and the beds were super comfortable.

Liked: Unfortunately, not much except staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Ratings were off, especially about cleanliness. Elevator was dirty and dingey. Faded and scratched paint on walls. Dirty carpet in the elevator. Corners and crevices of Bathroom floor were black and appeared to be dirty. Room had no seating other than 1 desk chair. Property does not appear well maintained. Perhaps its location across from convention center indicates high use and shows the wear and tear.
