Liked: Check in was easy. Front desk personnel were friendly & welcoming. Excellent breakfast, fresh fruits & coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped & was convenient to warm up leftovers & such. Liked that the inn doesn’t charge for parking & it is so close to so many eateries. Had a nice stay.
Disliked: Cannot think of anything.

A comfy little home away...

Liked: This was our second stay here and it was just as comfortable as we remembered, and in a very nice convenient location. Nice fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds including sofabed. Quiet. Easy parking. Decent breakfast with healthy options. We’d definitely stay again!

Mostly Very Good

Liked: The studio room was like a studio apartment and was completely loaded for an extended stay. We were only there for 3 nights. The continental breakfast was good.
Disliked: The desk staff stated several times the hours for breakfast but never said that you were expected to LEAVE the breakfast area by 10 am and, because we had a very rough travel day arriving at after 1:30 am, we arrived at breakfast at about 9:50/9:55 am and we're told that we had to get our food and GET OUT. We did not hear the part about being given a tray to carry our food. We have traveled all over the world and have NEVER been thrown out of a breakfast area until this stay! After becoming very upset, they very reluctantly allowed us to remain in the breakfast area for 15 minutes. Expectation setting is a large part of my work requirement, and the staff here needs to do a better job of explaining their requirements to customers to finish breakfast by 10 am or to be prepared to take breakfast to their room. As an aside, we arrived the second day at 9:15 am, and by 9:30, the attendant was already doing the shutdown procedures.We did let the desk staff know the second day that we did kill several ants in our room.

Comfort, location, and convenience is...

Liked: The location was great and the free parking was great. Being located between the Pearl and NW Alphabet district is great. The area is close to shops, grocery, and restaurants, while in a quiet area. I did enjoy the amount of spaciousness in the unit and the beds are comfy. The kitchenette was great to make yourself some evening tea. Full-sized fridge for storing leftovers and drinks.
Disliked: The outside looks like a fantastic property but on the inside it is dated and didn't quite match the experience. The sink drains were slow to drain in the bathroom. Some minor updates would make it nice. Some of the reviews I read raved about the breakfast. It is adequate and nice to have if you are on the go, but there are a lot of choices in Portland nearby to have a nice breakfast with solid food.
